The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), founded on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami in 1925, has always stood firm on its guiding principle of “Nation Building through Character Building.” As it completes 100 glorious years, the organization continues to inspire millions with its vision of discipline, unity, and service to the nation. This centenary celebration is not just a milestone in time, but a testimony to the enduring strength of values that bind society together.
To mark this historic occasion, a grand Path Sanchalan (March Past) was organized in Greater Noida and Dadri Nagar, showcasing the spirit of patriotism, discipline, and collective strength.
Floral Tributes to the Visionaries
The program commenced with floral tributes offered to Bharat Mata, the founder of RSS Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, and Guruji Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar. This act of reverence was more than a ritual – it was a heartfelt remembrance of those visionaries who laid the foundation of an organization dedicated to shaping individuals for the service of the nation.
Shastra Puja: A Pledge of National Protection
Following the tributes, a solemn Shastra Puja (worship of weapons) was performed. In RSS tradition, this ritual symbolizes not merely the worship of arms, but a deeper commitment to safeguarding the nation, protecting dharma, and upholding the dignity of society. It is a reminder that true service to the motherland requires strength, courage, and dedication.
Path Sanchalan: A March of Unity and Discipline
The Path Sanchalan that followed stood as a powerful expression of unity and discipline. Hundreds of swayamsevaks, dressed in uniform, marched with precision, embodying the ideals of brotherhood and national service. The streets of Greater Noida and Dadri Nagar resonated with the energy of the march, leaving an unforgettable impression on the hearts of the people.
100 Years of Glorious Journey
It is indeed a matter of immense pride and honor that the RSS has completed 100 years of its dedicated journey. Since its inception on Vijayadashami in 1925, the Sangh has tirelessly worked with the mission of transforming individuals into responsible citizens who serve the nation selflessly. Today, as we look back at this century of service, the message is clear – when citizens are disciplined and dedicated, the dream of a strong and self-reliant India is inevitable.
An Inspiring Experience
Being a part of this historic Path Sanchalan in Dadri Nagar was an unforgettable and deeply inspiring experience. It was not just a march, but a reaffirmation of faith – that the legacy of the past 100 years will continue to guide India towards becoming a Vishwaguru (World Leader).
