Govardhan Puja – A Celebration Of Faith, Service & Harmony

In the serene village of Kathahaira, Dadri (Gautam Buddh Nagar), the sacred festival of Govardhan Puja was celebrated with immense devotion, enthusiasm, and spiritual fervor along with family members and fellow villagers.

This auspicious day reminds us of the divine Leela of Lord Shri Krishna, who lifted the Govardhan Mountain to protect nature, the sacred Gaumata, and humanity — teaching us the eternal message of selfless service, compassion, and unity.

Govardhan Puja is not merely a ritual but a reflection of India’s timeless values — harmony, gratitude, and collective spirit.
All village families came together to worship the Govardhan Parvat made from Gaumata’s sacred dung, lit traditional lamps, and offered heartfelt prayers for peace, prosperity, and the welfare of all beings.

On this pious occasion, everyone took a solemn pledge —
to remain devoted to the protection of society, nature, and the nation through righteous deeds, faith, and selfless service.

As chants of “Jai Shri Krishna” and “Jai Govardhan Maharaj” echoed through the air, the entire village resonated with spiritual energy and divine grace — a reminder that our culture thrives when faith meets community and service meets devotion.

Jai Shri Krishna | Jai Govardhan Maharaj | Jai Matrubhumi
