The nation stood still with shock and sorrow when the news broke of an attack on our forces in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Our brave soldiers were ambushed by terrorists in a planned and vicious manner, attempting to create fear, chaos, and disruption in the valley. But what those enemies of peace didn’t realize is — this is New India. An India that stands united, unshaken, and unafraid.

Just days after the attack, our forces launched a meticulously planned counter-operation — code-named Operation Sindoor. The name itself was symbolic — representing the blood of our martyrs, and the dignity of Bharat Mata, whose forehead shall forever bear the Sindoor of sacrifice offered by her sons in uniform.
